26th of November complaints
At the last week I've had complaints training and my first complaint. The complaint was regarding my inability to speak Welsh and communicate to a server shooter who can apparently and speak Welsh however there is a huge amount of evidence to say that she can perfectly understand English. I promptly signed up for a Welsh course. Training on how to calm yourself after a complaint or drawing a complaint should be included in training in my opinion as I found it very hard to deal with.
19th November
A member of our service users staff at a major epileptic fit. An ambulance was called and the other service users went slightly out of control. We have procedures for this kind of event however I have had no epilepsy training or was not told the official guidelines them should county council in in providing help to someone who is experiencing an epileptic fit. I have now been booked on a course and have been debriefed from the shocking experience. This highlights the me a problem of poor provisions for very necessary training that certain members of staff. the rest of the week was fairly docile roughly 30% Administration and 70% social care and catering.

12th of November bookings
Problems with bookings and and absences of staff due to training have made this week very difficult. I think ive been stressed this last week due to arranging the Christmas party trying to collect deposits. Due to cancellations of bookings have been very quiet and have prepared Christmas recipes and stock list. Nothing much to report.
6 November the Chrismas party
I have been set the task of arranging the Christmas party. Apparently it is a stressful task which no one wants to repeat the next year. I had been told by several people the last person to arrange a broke down in tears.
The task involves communication organisation. I have booked a place to eat and drink and also I have arranged a disco. I minimum numbers of 20 people and then collecting deposits the end of next week. I feel the most difficult part will be parting people of them any and all so making sure the numbers are.
31 October The Meeting
The Team and I had a meeting today regarding the move down to Ruthin. On to an industrial estate to make sandwiches. We undertook market research at the week into competitors and possible locations to other businesses that we could attempt such as coffee shop. These were not warmly looked at. And data collected was not acknowledged. Manager said he was impressed with the data collected and would look into options and communicate them upper management. The meeting today we were not invited to. The higher manager involved and was spoken to him later had no idea at all the options put forward only the sum which run. I feel let down and disappointed in the management directly above us. I feel the manager has let us down as he has neglected to mention to hire management what we proposed which would have been cheaper and more profitable in the long run... convenience won the day. I feel fatigue over the situation of moving and do not trust my manager and resentment my employer.
24 October Failure to train
Training or lack of training in my case. as its next to imposable to get on the course that i have been told to go on. i finally get on the first aid course which i then due my e-mail not working I reserve no e-mail regarding the course meaning i miss it mean i incur a fine for my 'team' of £50. this to me is a motivational factor it doesn't help moral when it just slips under the radar due to being busy etc. i regret missing the course
Denbighshire is one of the few councils in Wales (and passable England) that still provides meals. this a huge expense. I feel it would be more beneficial if this money was put into more kinds of tarning. Options also include investing in more admin relieving the pressure making it easier to attend course.
Little else happen in the rest of the week. Operation's of Popty garn (my place of work) is being moved however management refuse to discus in depth with us.
