19th November
A member of our service users staff at a major epileptic fit. An ambulance was called and the other service users went slightly out of control. We have procedures for this kind of event however I have had no epilepsy training or was not told the official guidelines them should county council in in providing help to someone who is experiencing an epileptic fit. I have now been booked on a course and have been debriefed from the shocking experience.
